From 9th, May to 11th, 2006, delegation led by Dr. Nancy Chapman, Executive Director of the Yale-China Association visited Xiangya School of Medicine. The delegation included Ms. Ingrid Jensen, vice-director of YCA, Ms. Anne Ofstedal, YCA consultant, Mr. Zhong Jianguo, board chairman of Hongkong Zhong Jianguo Education Fund.
Prof. Tian Yongquan, CSU vice-president, Prof. Cao Ya, vice-mayor & vice-dean of Xiangya School of Medicine received the guests and introduced the long history of collaboration between CSU and Yale-China Association.
During their visit, the delegation met the students who gained the scholarship in recent years, visited the former and present campus of Xiangya School of Medicine, the Xiangya Hospital and the Exhibition center. |
