On November 16th, Dr. H.-B. Kraatz, professor of Biochemistry at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, was invited to visit our university. Dr. H. –B. Kraatz was awarded CSU Guest Professorship by Vice-president Qiu Guangzhou. Vice-president Qiu said that cooperation with the top research groups could promote our research level soon, and we could benefit a lot from such collaboration.
During his visit, Dr. Kraatz gave 2 lectures, namely “Electron Transfer in peptides: more questions than answers” ,and “Charge transfer in DNA: new thoughts on mismatch detection”. Meanwhile he had two meetings with the faculty and students from School of Chemistry. |
