On November 13, a health delegation led by Dr. P. D. Parirenyatwa, Minister of the Ministry of Health and Children’s Welfare of Zimbabwe visited  the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, accompanied by Mr Liu Jiawang, director of the Department of Health of Hunan government. Prof Li Guiyuan, vice president of the University met the delegation. The leaders of the Second Xiangya Hospital and International Exchange and Cooperation Office of the University attended the meeting. Dr. Parirenyatwa was very interested in the medical education and technology of the University. He attached much importance to the cooperation between Zimbabwe and China. The minister was also pleased to meet the wife of the anesthetist who was sent to Zimbabwe by the Second Xiangya Hospital on Zimbabwe government’s request.
