On October 19, Central South University, Yale-China Association and the Chung Kin-kwok Education Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding for scholarship and academic exchanges at CSU. Chung Kin-kwok Education Foundation has pledged to support Yale-China Scholarship Programs for low-income family, academically outstanding students at South Central University for the next five years. Yale-China Scholarship Programs provide not only direct financial support for students, but also academic support services and extracurricular opportunities for the students, including community service projects, visits to cultural sites, and leadership training. This scholarship is the largest sum of scholarship CSU has ever received.
