On Oct. 13th, the delegation of Ministry of Science and Technology of Cuba, visited our university accompanied by Vice Director Yue Shouchang of Hunan Science and Technology Department.
At the meeting in the morning, Vice-director Yue Shouchang said that the friendship between China and Cuba had last for a long time and he believed that the guests would gain a lot from this visit. Prof. Qiu Guanzhou, CSU Vice-president, received the guests on behalf of CSU. He introduced the basic information of CSU and he attached more emphasize on the strength and development of CSU in the field of science and technology.
It is reported that the Cuba S & T delegation is invited by Ministry of Science and Technology, and Hunan is a key place during their visit. The main intension of their visit is to seek corporative opportunity in hybrid rice, new materials and biology technology, and CSU is their first stop. |
